True Food Kitchen has a health-inspired menu, boasts it’s use of seasonal ingredients and for the Denver food scene, True Food Kitchen actually has good prices. It’s one of those places that you know you’ll like something on the menu no matter what.

But I still like to look at what’s on the menu ahead of time to pre-plan what I am going to order.

I like to eat healthy most of the time and going out to eat is a more regular occurrence, not exactly a special occasion like it used to be so I try to find restaurants that offer entrees I would likely make at home.

Really, I know what I am going to get for an appetizer each and every time and that is this Farmers Market Crudite. It has romaine, cucumber, rainbow carrots, broccoli rabe, tomatoes, and green beans.

When it comes to entree time I try to get something different each time. With it being a seasonal menu I can always count on something new!

This time I ordered the Seasonal Ingredient Salad. It has asparagus, green chickpeas (which reminded me of Sicily!) almonds, raisins, leafy greens, a really flavorful chia turmeric vinaigrette and I added steamed shrimp to that.

I really love how accommodating True Food Kitchen is. These days so many of us have preferences, dislikes, allergies, intolerances which can make eating out not as fun. Even I am kind of picky and I’m always super apologetic to the wait staff with all my goofy requests, lol. I’m Sorry but what is….? Can I replace this with that?

Starting from the bottom and working on up:

These heels in this picture are old but I linked a few similar looking ones!

I’m wearing Athleta’s jeans that I was gifted during my brand ambassador days. They are sooooo comfy. I’m wearing a size 2 and they are stretchy I hear size down.

Truth be told, I really wanted to wear a pair of jeans with rips in them but I don’t have any…yet. I linked some of those here too!

About my top: This is a little style tip I created because I was really wanting to wear a strapless body suit, but again I don’t have that. But I did have this Off The Shoulder top laying on my bed and when I picking out an outfit. Then I thought about how I could style it to wear like a strapless top and that’s exactly what I did. I love buying 1 shirt and styling it 2 or more ways!

To accessorize I threw my hair back in a silk scarf I bought in Sicily, but don’t worry I linked some similar ones! Since I am in love with blue I put in these fun tassel earrings I bought from Target. Love me some bigger, bolder earrings. So fun!

So that’s my date night outfit: jeans + heels, a cute top and fun colorful accessories!

If you are in Denver I highly recommend True Food Kitchen , and no this is not a sponsored post (although I would love to collaborate with them!).
