The proper post workout meal has to include these 3 nutrients: protein, carbohydrates and Vitamin C.

Protein is going to repair your muscles while the carbohydrates have a sparing effect. In other words carbs spare protein. The Vitamin C is a potent anti-oxidant that helps fight off inflammation.

If you want to look good and feel good, your workouts have to include a good post workout meal.
